When dealing with a whole house of messy rooms, it can be overwhelming and easier just to pretend it isn’t there. However, the longer you pretend, the more you get used to it.
No task needs to be done all at once, but it can be hard to get started. However, there’s an easy two-step process that can get things going.
1. Tell someone your plans to clean your house. Perhaps they need to clean their house, too, and you two can encourage each other. Let them know how you’re doing by following step two.
2. Take pictures of the rooms you want to clean. You’ve probably gotten used to the mess, so seeing things framed out can give you a new view. Once you’re able to see the rooms this way, you’ll have a better idea what you want to clean. You’ll also have before and after shots by the end!
